How to get MW3 working online after DAE.BIN update

1st off format your flash drive.

Now download the following TU tu00000002_00000000

Download Horizon XboxMB - Xbox Message Boards - Horizon

Once u have Horizon open click packet manager then open the TU you just downloaded. Now plug your flash drive into your computer if you haven't already and click save to device. Once it is saved plug your flash drive into your xbox and away you go.

To get your other XGD3 Backups working get your TU's for which ever game you want to play from here

Please note I just noticed everytime I start up MW3 I have to clear my system cache to delete the update it downloads when loading the game up. As the TU provided isn't saved in your cache it shouldn't take you long. It basically wont boot the game with the newest TU but if you use the 1 above it will boot then download the new one when the game is already booted.

anyone know if this works?

I have downloaded Horizon and open'd packet manager open'd the TU but when I try to save it says no devices. I have flashed a USB PEN to FAT32 and its on the system ok. Anyone any ideas?

best thing to do is buy cod, you will never have a prob when they change it again and again!!

the thing is aswell, all xgd3 games will all change so just buy the one you want!!

i took the update from mw3! its a original copy tho. i just put skyrim in and its loading up, i ain't used this tut but the game works!!!

skyrim is the only game i need till lt3.0 comes.


has anyone else tried any other games?

Once you take the silent update, no XDG3 games will work, unless you perform the above hack. However, its probably going to result in your xbox being banned!

As far as I was aware,anyone who has taken the update has been flagged for a ban anyway.
So it wouldn't make it any less likely to be banned by doing the hack would it?

I do agree that I wouldn't use it to go on Live though.

its not only flashed consoles that are having problems with unsupported disk error unmodded consoles are having the same problems google it ps if they do ban there will be thousands of unmodded consoles banned aswell didnt this happen in september and all bans resinded just been on a diffrent forum and they are not happy microsoft are telling them its the games fault mw3 and are telling them to go and get a replacement they are saying what silent update we know nothing of a silent update what a load of you know what

Dont think they ban you for one flag, repeatedly get them probably will but.

Got the silent update and came straight off line, hopefully just the one flag then good to go again after the new dash/cfw stuff has settled.

I have the same problem when I try to save to my flash drive. I also formatted to FAT32. Is the flash drive your trying to use at least 1GB? I read that it needs to be between 1 and 16GB.

You need to use your xbox to format the drive. And yes it needs to be at least 1gb for the xbox to do it

Got a TU for Need For Speed The Run (which would not boot after silent update) and it works fine. One question though, I noticed that the USB pen drive has to be in the xbox every time u want to boot the game - is there any way of transferring the TU to the hard drive so I can remove the pen?
