xgd3 - some discs not supported when running lt2.0

    xgd3 - some discs not supported when running lt2.0

    Hi

    I have a wierd situation:
    here's the full info- hope someone can shed some light:
    mate had a stock xbox with dash 13604
    I successfully flashed to lt2.0 (extracted keys successfully)
    tried a xgd3 game - Batman Arkham city and gears of war3 (burnt using ltmax)- games work fine
    left it with my mate for a couple of weeks.
    then he asked for new assassins creed game and saints row3
    both games did not work - error 'disc not supported'- tried 3 different copies (all verbatims burned using ltmax)- none of them worked.
    tried a reflash to lt2.0 - still no luck. HOWEVER batman AC and GOW3 still work.

    the setup of the above xbox is more or less same as mine - only difference mine has dash 13599- all games work flawlessly on mine.

    oh and both xboxes are always used offline.

    any ideas? all help greatly appreciated.

      you need to wait for the new fw mate.

          thanks mate,

          yeah i did think that too- but got confused because it happened all of sudden- i'll understand he went on live and got the silent update but he didnt. and the fact that the other xgd2 and xgd3 games work confused me even more...

          cant wait for lt 3.0 !

              i think there is a timer on it, i flashed my mates xbox 1 time, all games worked at the time and after months they stopped. it was all ap2.5 games what stopped and untill he updated the fw they worked again.

              (xgd3 games)
              the only game i know works is skyrim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

              not sure about any others but if you want me to find out what works is no probz!!(EASY)

              theres a timer on it, thats what i found out. unless its the iso what comes with a change. but remember they all works at 1st!!

              i can not say any more because, i do not real know!

                      thanks , i read that the other day.
                      i appreciate that i have to wait for new fw, i dont know if i understand the problem properly tho.

                      as batman ac, and gow3 work, the guy hasnt been online or even plugged in - so how come the other new games are not working? im assumin the dash has something to do with and that maybe on eof the new games had a 'silent' install for somethin?

                      not really fussed now cos im just going to wait for lt3.0- however i would like to understand how it happened out of curiosty...
