Hitachi 78 Drive Revision

Does anyone know what drive revision a Hitachi 78 would be changed to by the 13146/13599 dashboad updates?

I am trying to dump the fw from a Hitcachi 78 which is from a box that has the latest dash (14699) on it, but JF wont dump the drive - keeps saying 'drive revision unrecognised' and aborting?

What kit you using mate? Hitachi are notoriously picky.

Ive solved the initial problem - faulty power lead to connectivity kit (should really have checked that in the first place!).

Because this box has been updated to latest dash I'm in unknown territory here, not sure what is going on but once drive flashed with LT+2.0 it wont read any discs - not even an original disc, keeps going to white screen 'put this disc in an xbox 360'. I've checked and re-checked the key and it is the right one, so what else might it be? or is it a direct result of the update to the latest dash?

sounds like your using the wrong key mate.... I could be wrong ofc Also have you upgraded your dash via usb on new console ?
