C4E?s iXtreme LT+ v3.0 in association with Team Jungle & Team Xecuter
If you have been on live lately then yes you will need LT+3.0 and reburn because you games will no longer work. If you havent and your games are till working then no you wont need LT+3.0 YET so no reburns. I dont see how it could be pricy. ?15 for burner and use 1000s of times. less than ?1 for a disc. Original =?40+. If you dont want to fork out a pound just play your original games.
Thanks I've used the universal patch for Revelations and will try it later.
Does brotherhood need patching or can abgx360 still be relied upon?
I dont think there is a patch for brotherhood yet. To be honest im not sure if abgx will be enough to patch for use on LT+3.0. All i can say is give it try.

Here you go dont say im not good to you. This is the patch for brotherhood only and NOT for anything else. This is confirmed as working with many users. Enjoy

Thanks. I'll try it tomorrow. I can confirm Revelations boots and plays with the generic patch.
thanks m8. is there anywhere that will sell this with a caddy as only have a lappy therefore will have to connected via usb ?
Your best bet would be ebay. If your going to use a laptop then you will also need some way to power it. There is also wires on ebay cant mind what they are called but i will be back on soon and have a check for you
I read this elsewhere but just about sums it up for me:
Microsoft can do whatever they want to do at any point. The fact now that they can remove your firmware without your permission and flash it back to stock just kills it all for me. You could spend time burning your games, spend money on discs then BOOM none of your discs work anymore and you have to not only get your console re-flashed but re-burn all of your games again. It's not by mistake that every XGD3 title except Halo uses the same security code, it's by design so all of a sudden MS can change it and once again force everyone to re-burn titles. c4eva is calling 3.0 a silver bullet only because all the games share the same security code right now...but watch, it'll change soon enough...MS isn't stupid they just sit back anymore waiting until the modders catch on then they take action with disabling backups again.
I've give up with the 360 now.
I refuse to flash them or burn games for people anymore because they are going to come back 3 months down the line moaning that their console/games won't work anymore.
Can't be arsed with the aggro.

Thats totally your opinion and guess what, your entitled to it
The fact is, nobody forces anyone to have thier drive flash to a CFW. Its your choice, everyone should now know the risks involved.
There are other option that are open to you. Not just CFW. There are now ODDE's the new RGH, granted that niether are live safe.
Or you could just simply take the risks or flash your console back to stock and forget about it

Nay. They all come with the same AP2.5 topology (to date) and this is imprinted on the discs, so MS can't just change it. They can change the challenges to that data, but (in theory) iXtreme 3.0 can handle them.
I'm sure that MS will take further measures (with future titles?) to prevent backups, but with 2011 titles I think we are safe with the current CFW.
