Not unless you get a working patch. NFS HP is a xgd2 ap2.5 games and none of the universal patches will work. Whats your disc ID and i will have a look for a working patch

Your best bet would be ebay. If your going to use a laptop then you will also need some way to power it. There is also wires on ebay cant mind what they are called but i will be back on soon and have a check for you

A caddy would just be used to make it look good. So if you dont mind looking at the drive the way it is then no you wont need a caddy. I would personally just get the wire kit and when your not using the drive just pop it out of site in cupboard somewhere
