    Ejecting Problems

Ive had my current xbox for 3 years but for the last 2 years it wont eject without a disc in , i know its a strange problem but ive got to leave a disc in and the only way to get the disc tray out if i dont leave a disc in is give the top a real hard wack, but even that takes a good few wacks now.Like i said though with a disc left in it ejects first time every time .Anyone with any ideas on how to fix it ?

Try taking the drive out of the xbox. Eject the tray. Take drive casing bottom + top off. On the top you will see the eject motor and gears + the drive band. Take the drive band off and place in boiing water for 10-20 mins and rebuild and try. Did a members this afternoon that would not eject every time
