do u need to update dash before installing lt3 ? and how and where on lt2.0 now on a banned box

I always return to stock before dash updates. If its after xdg3 dash you might be ok. Just make sure u do the update from xbox website via cd or usb

If its banned it wont make a difference. You can update the box off a disc or memory stick Smirnoff.

If its before the xdg3 dash and you update from copy then it will cause a 'boot loop' and you will need a original wave 13 or xdg3 disc to recover it.

Because they cannot perform ap2.5/2.6 checks then no need for update. As lt3 changed the .dae table
