never played it, had ago on the 1st one but turned it off. no game is worth ?40.

i disagree, some are but VERY few !!! mass effect 3 will be worth it i think, also got that game rage for 15 quid it was worth it, i would even have payed 40 for it if the online play was better not just death races....
big fail from id software not adding FPS game modes to online multiplayer
