flashing xbox

I have a xbox with liteon drive that has been previously flashed with lt2.0 and I need to update.I've never done it before and I wonder if this bit of kit will do the job-ck3 mini

am I right in thinking I will not need a probe to extract the key as it has already been flashed
also my pc has sata connections but I read that you need a special via 6421a card
any advice greatly appreciated

Ck3 to power the drive. Probe v3 to retrieve key. Some onboard sata chipsets are compatable. Some ain't. Via 6421 with drivers removed works. But consider getting a x360 usb pro
