What size HDD in my RGH xbox

I'm after getting a larger HDD for my xbox. It is glitched, at the moment I have a 20gig drive. I've herd that I could maybe go as high 1TB. If it's possible could you point me in the right direction please.. Thanks

i have a 640GB HDD that i want to put inside my RGH xbox, in the guide Cunny posted, it was mentioned that to restore Avatars u had to get the right update file for the dash u have. it said that he had the 9199 dash. I have the 14699 dash. could sum1 help me out with the right update file for my dash please. looked but couldnt find. thankx..

So that's deffinately the right update I need, with it coming off an xbox site it's not gonna brick my box is it. My box is glitched..

I got 500gig and then a 1tb external on my water cooled RGH hacked box

Your nand has already been flashed with dash 14699.
When you use the official update 14699 it will restore avatars and fix media.
Never install an official update that is newer than your current dash on RGH and jtag consoles.

A 1TB usb drive should be fine. Does it show in xexmenu?

How is the drive formatted? Fat32 or ntfs?

right people, im ready to restore my avatars on my xbox. in the tutorial above, do i put my usb drive in when freestyle is loaded or when NXE is up. cheers for your help people..

plug in the flash drive then switch on your console, it should detect the update right away.

What was the problem with the console not seeing your ext hdd?
