I have a liteon DG - 16D2S (74850) , but if i replaced the drive with a new one would i now need to buy a (02510C) , cause everyones fw has been changed to the 02510C , im a little confused about this.

Any phat liteon be it 7 8 or 9 series drive will do for a replacement.
The xdg3 update flashed liteons to the 02510 firmware
