one red light and E74 message

can anybody tell me what this means and is there a fix?

yes m8 the e74 code on your 360 means you have over heated the video gpu u can fix this by buying repair kit on ebay and u get the guide with it failing that wrap it up in a towel overheat it totally so u get 3 red rings fone microsoft and hope u are covered with there 3 year warranty for red ring of death

X-clamp the GPU after cleaning it and applying thermal grease.

then bake it without fans till 2 rings.

Leave it to cool and hope.


You can also try reflow the path between the GPU and HANA chip above the GPU with a Heatgun.

ive just had my 360 e74 error fixed by gamesworlddirect but they no longer fix the e74 error,microsoft will but will cost bout 70 for them to fix it if its not under warranty
