I had 3 blanks left, burned a copy and it failed, burned a 2nd copy and it failed, checked the 3rd disc before burning at it was scratched to shit, then I checked the previous 2 and they were scratched to shit aswell.

Now I have no discs and I'm skint so I'll not be able to order any until friday which means I'll not get them until monday/tuesday possibly later!

Im in the same boat whichy.


Got 2 tubs of 50 elites a month ago.

1st tub about 45/50 worked perfect.


2nd Tub about 4/35 so far have worked, i could of sworn it was my burner, so i got a pioneer. Still same.


Them elites seem to be very hit or miss with the tubs.

My 1st batch of Elites were ~~~~ing amazing, 50 discs for about ?12 and honestly i never got a single coaster, but the next batch I bought were utter pish, the games would burn ok onto the disc but the 360 had mega trouble trying to read them, some would boot but crash, some would boot and play but crash later but most of them simply didn't boot at all and I got the OPEN TRAY message.

I'll be sticking to AONES and TUFF DISC from now on.

Yep exact same, they would burn fine, but i get the disc unreadable immediatly.


Wouldnt be so happy if i had of picked the bad batch 1st to use

Are the old Aones back, the + ones were muck.
Tuff discs havent heard o` them.

Been having issues with the aones lately. Bought like 30, all burnt fine, but virtually everyone one wont play. Poxy disks. .

I've just completed this and I got to say I'm pretty disappointed.

It just wasn't scary and the final boss battle was pathetic.

As a FPS it was great but it failed miserably as a horror game, the first one was much spookier IMO.

I didnt even make it that far....I played the demo and I thought it was nowhere near as atmospheric as the original so I haven't bothered with the full game....saying that I wasn't much looking forward to this game either as I thought the original FEAR was pretty good but damn it was bland.

I enjoyed the 1st game and the extra campaigns but this one is pretty devoid of atmosphere, it has some good solid level designs and you can tell the team put a lot of effort into the graphics (it looks much better than the previous one) but they've lost the spook factor and have instead built a game around combat.

Maybe it is spooky and I'm still numbed after recently completing Silent Hill Homecoming

What's your take on Silent Hill Homecoming then mate ? I never played it beyond the opening sequence myself - between the very average reviews and all the rest of it I'm not sure if it's worth playing extensively......I thought the first 10 minutes were great but after that it started getting abit boring....it didn't help that I was stuck .....I suppose the question I should be asking from someone who completed it is has it got that same Silent Hill feel ?
