Did you get any games with the console. If you did what I'd the latest game reales that you have. What dashboard is in the console. If you dl a new game and patch and burn it the correct way then you have lt3.0. If it doesn't play the game you will prob have and older lt in which case you should really get it updated. You could also ask the person you bought it from. If they don't know ask when it was last flashed. Anything after Xmas you should be ok

The 2 games you have are a bit old so the chances are you won't have the latest fw so you would be best to try and get it updated. What are the games you are trying to burn. Things have changed a big bit with the Xbox over the last 6 months. Most games are 8.7gb in size and your standard dl disc is 8.5gb in size. To combat this you need to get hold a a liteon ihas burner and flash it with burnermax fw to allow the extra data to fit onto the disc. You need to move fast and buy the burner because liteon have now stopped making the burner that you can use. You are looking for a liteon 124 or 224 or 324 or 424 or 524 or 624. And they need to be revision b

I'm guessing you have lt2.0 or most prob the latest lt3.0. The only way to 100% find out is get hold of a new back up game from someone or get some flashing tools and plug it into your pc

It all depends on what games you have. As I said before some games won't fit onto a standard dual layer disc. As you are new to this there is a lot to take in to start with. Have a look at the top of the Xbox section and you will find a guide
Made by cunny saying a complete guide to burning. At the moment there is only 2 ways you can burn the latest games 1 is using the truncate method and this is not safe but will fit most games
Onto your disc the other is to buy the liteon ihas burner and flash it with burnermax fw this is your safest option and will fit all the data onto your disc. The burner price starts from around ?15 but you need to act fast to buy one as they have just stopped making them
