XBOX 360 TOTAL NOOB

Hi I have soft modded many wii's but do not have the confidence to flash an xbox after reading tutorials on here, my son is looking to buy a new xbox with the idea of getting it chipped/flashed. Is there a solderless chip availible?any advice on what would be the best option would be very helpful as i don't have a clue when it comes to xboxes.

Thats coz every man an his dog can mod a wii. Your best with a phat xbox as no soldering required. All info is in the sticky at top of section.

Get a xbox
See what drive you get (dif drive dif method)
Then you will know what your up against.

Also in the op. If its a new xbox then more than likely this will have a 1175 and a corona board that cant be modded as yet
