just realised also have a couple of old benq drives they the same laser i could put 1 in for ye, u can have the drive dont want anythin for it

Those drives are not new. They're reconditioned ones. I have had two of a seller and both were very poor in performance. Wouldn't read verbs!!

If someone wants to fit some lasers for me then I would be happy to buy lasers and pay postage both ways

Just get new lasers from modtraders mate. Easy enuf to instal.

I have a liteon but the pcb is hit an miss so was gonna combine the 2 and make a good drive

I've tried installing lasers mate I can never get them to work for me! If you want to install them for me Cunny I can sort you a pcb
