Grand Theft Auto IV Gamespot Review.

GTA IV has been reviewed by IGN and now Gamespot too, both sites gave the game a 10/10 score. Must be an awesome game this, I can't wait to play it .

I might create my own account and start playing this. I was watching my son play it today and he was having a firefight with some cops, he had a rocket launcher and a machine gun, looked very interesting

He did indeed...., but his son showed him to to really play it...you know kids are great with games, I stopped playing consoles with my lad when he was about 8, he got too good....

I've played it now, and so far I would give it a 9/10. It's nothing revolutionary over previous GTA games, but it is an evolution - and it's just done better than any similar game before it. Makes Saints Row look like childs play. Just imagine previous GTA games with next gen graphics and with more scope and you pretty much have GTA IV. It's a great game that is insanely fun.

The only bad sides for me so far has been that the soundtrack isn't anything to shout home about compared to previous GTA games, and the fact that you cannot fly aeroplanes or fighter jets like the previous GTA only helicopters. And that it all takes place in one city so their isn't really a change of scenery.

But none of that really detracts from the game, that's how good and how much fun this game is. And there is alot of stuff in this game if you take the time to find it that I won't ruin, but hasn't been done in a game like this before. And that's why this game is getting rave reviews, because it's making the effort and pushing boundaries. And it shows.

played it for a few hours,got bored,same ols same old,nothing new,badly handling card,even the sports ones have the handling of a fire engine ive really enjoyed previous games,but this is boring-im playing viking now

I'm opposite picked up gta 4 hoping i could finally get into Gta & after an 1 of wandering bad driving & mundane cut scenes i'm still not into Gta! 4/10
