xbox stop playing backups now

recently flashed my xbox 360 slim (thread on here) which went fine had few problems but go there in the end
yesterday i downloaded a game and burnt it to a disc dvd +r
the game work fine now problems what so every
(it passed all the the checks on abgx360, didnt come up with any fails or errors, green all the way though)
today i turned the console on tried playing this game and it keeps on returning to dashbord, so i tried another game which works and that came up as play dvd
i think i need to reflash console or will that affect it and no be live safe then
ive test the discs on friends xbox and they work on his console
so i think i just need to reflash mine
but if not please say other wise

Try some verbs. Test with kprobe. Tuts on here posted by me if they pass kprobe and burnt with burner max could be a laser issue

tried some verbs disc
did the same so bought a new laser and now looking for good tuts on how to replace with ease
