help flashing a 0272? slim liteon drive

im currently trying to flash a xbox slim drive DG-16D4S 0272
im following the tut jf has provided on the website
ive connected all the leads up to the drive with my x360 usb pro v2
the step on the tut says either click slim key on dvdkey tab or click slim unlcok on mtk flash 32 tab
after i click i get an error saying ' slim-un-lock command returned an error
therefore i cant carry on flashing the drive
i noticed on the front of the drive it says fw ver 9504 yet jf recongised it as 0272
i dont think the drive has been flashed as key does show as verfied in jf
i have updated the xbox to latest dashboard before i opened it up to flash
anyone help me sort things out to carry on flashig the xbox
    thanks in advance

I can see your key in your logs. How are you unlocking the drive, PCB or Sputnik?

Now you have your dummy.bin yes you need to unlock or use a replacement pcb. If you decide to unlock then do a full read of the firmware before flashing the drive.

ive just open my drive up an taken the pcb out to find a blob of sloder on the back of the pcb board
think it has been flashed before as the sloder is over the trace cut
how do i update the firmware on it then to play newest games
will have to take the solder off then redo it or is there a easier way

The trace cut will have to be done if you want to unlock the drive. Be it this is either from removiong the solder or making a fresh cut
