Are you running FSD? (freestyle dash?)

when i tried to run FSD it said something like "dashlauncher v2.27 cannot work with kernel ver 15574"
but the dash has changed from the one it came with, so not sure if this one is fsd,but there is a fsd credit tab on the dash
as you can see i'm new to all of this,
like i've said in other posts i'm an oldie, and it really does hurt my head trying to get this techo stuff working
      vista on lappy

Ok.. Does the console still boot xell reloaded when powering on from the eject button?

Try loading FSD from from memory stick. You will need to burn a copy of XeX menu and browse to usb and boot it from there.

FSD installer : Freestyle Dashboard 2.2 Auto Installer (ISO, Live and XEX options)

XeX Menu can be found on xbins

So get Xex Menu, burn to disc. Instal FSD to usb device ie usb stick and load via Xex Menu

            Xex menu

XEXMenu 1.1 Download [XEX Menu ISO, LIVE and XEX] - File manager for Xbox 360

Now you have XeX menu running you need to get FSD running. You can instal this onto a flash drive (usb stick) or on the hdd itself.

Once this is running post back and i will tell you how to FTP accross.

Or alternatly you could just instal FSD straight onto the xbox hdd. Coice is yours.

                  thanks cunny
I tried smartFTP and it managed to see Xbox from PC
so it must have been Flash FTP was not working or wrongly configured
