Modded Xbox360 Update

Hey
Since i modded my xbox 360 (LT+2) i cant connect to Xbox Live service
when i connect it require a software update, Now if i update, can't i run my copied games ?
and i want to connect to live not for playing online, only i want to connect to visit marketplace, buying arcade games, trying demo games
and i won't play online ever.
please help me
will i update or risky on my mod ? thanks

Return drive tyo stock fw.
Run update
Flash to LT3.0

And the reason i asked which drive would be the slim 9504 is flashed to 0272 and spi locked.

i am very beginner
if i ran update from usb or dvd, can i play my copied games ?

Download the latest update from xbox website

As you said you flashed the drive yourself, you would need to return to to stock firmware run the update, then return it to a custom firmware.

If you run the update without doing the above can lead to bans from live or other issues
