    Streaming from laptop to xbox

    Hi guys,
I have been trying to stream music from my laptop to my xbox. I'm using windows media player. I've given up on windows media c entre. Anyway i downloaded some music files, converted them first to mp3 then mp4, but only some of them will play. All the files appear on tv screen but but only some will play. Have any of you any idea how to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for replies.

i believe that you have the extender already checked under firewall and you have scan your files with wmp and depends ont he media player share the media content if it is 11 library-option and enable the sharing if it is wmp12 stream-allow devices and more opions (advance settings) and grant permission for the xbox
