is it possible to unchip an xbox 360 to then play with it on live?

also will the firmware need to be flashed?

Your gonna have to be more specific. Is it drive flashed? Rgh or jtag?

Also would depend if it's been banned from live or flagged.

as mr cunny says.cause all those games played till now,will have registred on box.and it could be flagged.etc.best bet would be keep box as is.just for playing on.get another box never been flashed etc.use that for online.

i asked how its was chipped or flashed n he didnt know as he bought it like it
so if i loaded it up without internet connection could i find out how it is working from that method and then un-chip it?

More than likely its a drive flash and would need returning to stock firmware.

If that is the case. Depends on drive and dash version as to which stock firmware.

the games load from discs and the dashboard is very very old

ok i have a phillips & lite-on drive Modle no. DG-16D2S

will the stock lite-on rar work?

do i have to conect the drive to the pc to use this or can i burn it to disc then use it in the xbox ?

do i need the ck3 to write back the original firmware?

You will need more than a .ck3 a probe v3 to retrieve drive key will be needed also.

Yes you will need to connect drive to a pc thro compatible chipset also.

If you have the key yes, however can be tricky. Its also not recomended doing it that way.

If you dont have the key then no.

My advice? Either get the equipment needed or take it someone to do
