There is no such thing as LT2.0 games.
Maybe a copy of abgx logs and kprobe results would help

When you update to LT3.0 any XDG3 iso's burned for use with LT2.0 need to be re-patched through abgx and re-burned for them to work. When you put one thru abgx you will see that the topology section is missing - that ia what is causing the unsupported disc error.
Most older games will not need to be re-burned as they are noty AP25 active, but some are so you will need to see which work and which dont. However all xdg3 titles are AP25 active and will threfore need re-burning.
as above i had the same issue had problems running my back up of mass effect and and most wanted etc, flashed 3.0 and it solved that problem although had to repatch and burn them
I suppose patching to lt2.0 topology should get rid of the disc unreadable error on the newer games?
Technically there is no LT+ 2.0 topology anymore. ABGX360's current topology only supports LT+ 3.0 or LTU 1.2. There are a couple exceptions including early Samsung and Hitachi drives which do not handle AP2.5 challenges.
