elite wont read disc

my elite 360 wont read original games
it has not been flashed or opened
it wont even read disc as in wont say play dvd or play game o dashboard
so what im thinking of doing
is either swap the laser with a spare one i have or swap the pcb with another dvd drive and then flash console
i have two spare elite dvd drives so i thought i could atleast get this one sort with one of them methods
i dont want to do the pit tweak as i dont own a multimeter

Hi if you swap the circuit boards in the dvd drive you cannot do this unless you have the DVD KEY they are match to the console main board

Sounds like the lazer has died if it will not read original games
does the light on the on off button flash all the time ??

If so i would swap the lazer cheapest way
or a new drive & rip the key out you old dvd drive & flash the new drive with it

It's Elite console do you know what drive it has (most prob a liteon)
