Gaming and Age.

I think its deffo true that as you get older your gaming skills deteriate as your reflexers slow down a bit and the hand/eye bit goes down the pan.
I'm definately not as good as I was years ago (not that I was really that good).
It shows up on the shooters like cod4 and Gears, I can spend days trying to get past certain stages where I'm sure years ago I wouldnt have struggled.

Lots of games now my 12 year old son can whip me till the cows come home, and those cows come home quite a lot.

Or is it that i'm just crap and i shouldn't be telling anyone about my lad beating me.

Playing mario bros has proved severely difficuly nowadays and as for shooters, unless ive got a keyboard and mouse im essentialy hopeless.

Some games ive improved at, whilst others i get my ass handed to me. manic miner and jet set willy are neigh on impossable nowadays, newer games seem far easier than some of the oldies i used to play.
