    Xbox 360 dvd-rom issues

    Hi,

I've tried everything to get my PC to recognise the xbox 360 dvd drive.

I opened my xbox and left the molex connector attached to the drive and used the sata connection to plug into my PC. I have a Lite-on drive.

The BIOS see's the drive when I boot up the computer and when in windows the drive management see's the drive and it has a drive letter but I cannot see it in My Computer. I loaded Jungle flasher and checked all the IO ports and it says no drive detected.

I am stumpted here, is there something I should be doing? Apologies if this has been said before.

    Thanks in advance

You either need a VAI6421 PCI Card
    or a X360 USB (prefered)
