If you do a google for jungleflasher guide all the info is on there.
It was unhackable but can now be flashed but again if you cant solder you will need a ck3 kit with the probe on the R707 point onb the board of the drivesigpic

i have added jungleflasher 0.016beta + tutorial + iprep v00.8 and also the new 360 Mod Disc 1.6 - Usb Memory Stick Boot as another option, check them out on the downloads and read through the tutorials thoroughly before going ahead, there is also people more knowledgable than myself on this site who can help you outComment

All easy
Dont be worried about the Liteon! That drive used to scare the shit out of me when I used to get them. I actually bricked no less then 3 in the begining, not I do them no problem.
Though you can flash in windows via Jungleflash, if you want to guarantee that your not gonna suffer a crash on your pc desktop, you should try iprep v008.8. then load your dongle with the liteon firmware, then flash via DOS... atleast you dont need to worry about crashes. All you need extra for that is a serial cable if your using the executer ck3 or similar.
the forum on xboxscene has a great tutorial on this. and also there are a few good liteon flash video tuts on youtube done by some Texan.

I obtain the key from a liteon using jungleflasher, create my CFW in it also.
I have a usb drive prepped with win 98 boot files, i then copy over my CFW to it, boot to dos and use dosflash and l-o-eras.exe to erase and write the CFW much more stable/safer erasing and writting in dos than windows.sigpic

I also forgot to mention that the pc will only freeze in windows because of the via chipset driver.
If you remove it, should be fine, i personally have not done 1 that way but know victor ray has.sigpic

yeah you should uninstall your via driver, and install the ini that came with jungleflasher... you may need to manually install the ini from your add hardware section in windows. If I did help you, or you liked that I tried to help, click the "thank" button on the bottom right of my comment.

ck3 is the tool used to power the drive and hook to pc without using the xbox. and no need to spoof anything anymore. all you need to do it probe or solder a point on the liteon then flash it. either in windows or DOS. i would do it in dos though, to avoid any system crashes. If I did help you, or you liked that I tried to help, click the "thank" button on the bottom right of my comment.

As Cunny said I did my first liteon last weekend and found it relatively easy in hind sight.
I did the whole lot using Jungle flasher as opposed to using Jungle flasher to obtain the key and then using dos flash.
If you are a noob and not competent using dos or messing around with settings in your bios, I would suggest just using Jungle Flasher. As people have posted, you will need to remove the drivers if using a via chipset.
My advice would be to read the jungle flasher guide a few times, disgest the information and the post here any questions you may have before you start the process.Comment
