what switch are you on about?

i have had mine thro scart, av and hdmi on my hdtv and its fine, not sure on resolution tho.

Why not pull mem cards/hdd and reset the xbox to factory, see where that gets you.

its cause its on 50hz timings and HDMI shits bricks with 50hz.

simple fix though, just plug in your usual composite cable, go into display preferences and select pal 60 as your output.

then turn it off and jack in your HDMI cable, go back to display preferences and select whatever resoloution you want.

PS: 360s only output 720p native res, they upscale to 1080 i/p on the fly and this only really accentuates the jaggies.

no signal may mean that hdmi is not enabled,on some tvs u have to switch on/enable for it to work,go into menu settings on tv and see whats listed.

                      yeah reset

yeah best to reset to default on your xbox, just hook it up via AV to do it, the hdmi setting may have been set to high and needs lowered... but ofcourse you need to be able to see it before you can change it ;-)

Also you may have a faulty HDMI port on your xbox360. its not unheard of, and though we all love the xbox... we all know its about as reliable as havin a hooker for a wife.
