More or less the start of an E74 error (your audio/visual chip). its located just at the back of the gpu heat sink. heat tends to damage them. you could try to reflow the solder on the chip, or its been known to fix this error by adding a bit of weight to the chip in question (3x 2pence coins) then let it get hot, the heat can help level then chip again.

I get this type of error a few times a week, and it always works for me, but its good to then add a low profile heat sink to the audio video chip when your done.

only the one inside my pretty little head. you should try the tutorials at xboxscene.

if your not sure how to xclamp fix or reflow solder you should let someone do it for you. most people charge (like me) but you may know someone who can do it.

                    Not nylon...

...try to stay clear of nylon washers, kits with them do work, but only for a short time (2 months maybe) because as the other components heat and expand the nylon (plastic) washers also deform and eventually the preasure applyied to the chips is once again deminished.

I only ever use metal (steel) in my clamps, including the washers, also i use spring washers. 153xbox fixes later only ever had one return, and i usually follow-up on my customers to make sure everything is still tip-top a few months on.

Most of the time when nylon is used in part of the fix, because it lasts 2months or so most customers dont get back to the seller/repair agent as they just loose the original contact info OR they dont want to for other reasons, like being a bother ect.

When I 1st strted out i fell into the trap of using bylon, not to mention I think brass based machine screws. now all my kit is 100% steel and i never have problems. and because i always heat sink the AV chip, i never get e74 returns later nither.

I've had this happen and an x-clamp replacement is what fixed it. There are plenty of guides on youtube and you can pick up the kits for a few pounds off ebay.
Don't reflow if you don't need to.
