memory unit help

hi folks , trying to install gta v[ for my son ,a bday pressie] ,however i keep being told i need to clear space on my memory unit [ not got live], however when i get to storage folder it tells me i have only got 41mb left , but each file tells me and shows 0 files so i cant clear anything of the mu, what am i doing wrong folks??/// any and all help appreciated cheers.

how big is the memory unit? Which xbox do you have, your memory unit will need to be over 8gb as gta instals to the xbox to run

x box 360 mate, now tried to install after using an 8 gb usb stick, with same results , NOT enough memory, will i need a 16 gb ?

usb stick tells me i have only 1.9 gb free?? despite being new and compatable with x box?

can you adjust the size when formatting it within the xbox?

tried that as well mate but got the same responce

you will need a 16gb memory stick to install it on to as once you format the 8gb stick you lose a fair chunk of the space
