    Firmware on xbox live query

    Hi Guys

Just a quick one is there a firmware i can use if i get my box modded to go on xbox live and not be detected by microsoft. If i did go on xbox live with a modded box i would not want to be banned. If there is one which one is it.

    Thanks.

This is the way i use live.

Have latest firmware, ixtreme 1.6/1.51 the latter only hitachi drives.
Run all my games through ABGX to verify them.
Play only after uk release date.

I have used this method for 18 months an not banned but again you do it at own risk

I use 1.51 on a sammy drive. I think 1.51 has exactly the same security as 1.6 but 1.6 allows you to hook it up to your pc to rip games.

1.6 wont boot hybrid games, so those that are patched to wave 2 from wave 3 wont boot where as 1.51 will.

Thanks, I was starting to wonder if I should update to 1.6 just to be sure, but abgx should also pick these hybrid games up so I think I'll leave it.
