Cannot turn on xbox. Green lights turn on then turns of

    Hello eveybody,

I have strange thing with my xbox 360 slim black matt. It seems that it is working in standby, when I press turn on button, green light turns on, after a second turns off. The same with PSU: orange light in standby, when turn on it lights up green and then to orange again. When pressing CD rom tray open button, I hear the osund but nothing happens.

The last thing I did was open the cdrom tray, take out a cd, close the tray and turn of xbox. From that time it doesn't work anymore. It is made in 2013 Jan.
Error code cannot be read via synch and cdrom button. Any other methods?

    Where to start looking?

    Thanks

The problem is that it was dissambled and the warranty sticker is broken now. So I do not think that MS will help me.

        OK...

Has any modding been done to the box at all.

Remove all leads except power an video, can also pull the hdd out out, see what happens then

No modding was done. Just turned it off, moved to other place and it is not working now. It has not been dropped also.

Removed all leads, all usb, hdd, took of the cover - still the same. Pressing on button it beeps, fan starts for a second, PSU shows green led and after that gets back to orange and console turns off. Pressing CD-rom eject button it only beeps, not turning on.
Turning on by Remote Controller, everything is the same: press button on the controller, console turns on and after a second it turns off and the remot controller turns off also.
I will try my PSU on other XBOX to check if it is ok.

Where to start looking for problems? Measure MOSFETs? Board seems to be clean, no burned places. I will try to resolder front touch plate pins, as they look suspicious for me, but I do not think that this may be a problem.

          Thanks in advance!

Cable seems to be OK, due to it beeps when pressing on button. Can this be faulty because of DVD drive? How does console acts when it is tried to turn it on without a DVD drive?

Tested PSU om other Xbox - works. So PSU is good.

I tried to test standby voltages by the folowing image from xbox-experts http://xbox-experts.com/pics/xbox_360_slim_mainboard_power sources_top.jpg
, but my board is different something like this http://www.logic-sunrise.com/images/...enu/corona.JPG

My standby voltages are differnet at some test points, compared to the refrence image, this is due to different board or this is aproblem?
Maybe there are some test points for corona board?
                Thanks
