im trying to stream my hd movies ive got in .mkv format, but the 360 does not support the format.. any way around it..? i dont want to have to convert my media to mp4/avi coz thats just long!

it takes me about an hour converting, but thats down to my low spec laptop not the software/shareware im using.. wanted a faster option..
you guys think there ever will be mkv support? official or otherwise?

i have a PS3, they convert the files automatically, using PS3media server to stream the movies, that's all the console is good for, and the blu ray..... that's my opinion anyway.Comment

ive looked into TVersity..
it looks promising, but having a bit of trouble configuring it..
when running the program, the xbox sees the media but can not play it..
i get message:
'unplayabe content
can't play this content because it may not be supported'
its not a codec issue, as i uninstalled all packs and installed the Combined Comunity Codec Pack.. any tips?Comment
