Hi Guys, does anybody know the score with ixtreme 1.6, ie do you have to put the special cd in to play all backup games or just old type ones ?

i dont get what you mean, ixtreme 1.6 is a firmware that allows you to play back up games, but it will not allow you to boot a hybrid game (1 that should be wave 3 but patched to wave 2)

Ok Cunny i have been trying to flash my nephews lite-on , if you remember you gave me your tutorial however i purchased the executer pro kit with ck3 probe,and needed a different tutorial, anyway i found one and flashed the 1.6 but could not get it to play back ups, so i reflashed it with 1.5 last night and it works fine, so i thought it was something to do with the iso that you have to burn, i made one but it made no difference. Maybe it didn't flash 1.6 right, it was a bit confusing because the 1.6 for lite-on from xbins was called 1.6 repacked and when put in the jungle flasher firmware folder it was not recognised even when i had unzipped it, so maybe you have to rename it. I didn't flash untill i had extracted the key a few times which looked good and was the same every time.
