    Slim hard Drive Enclosure- Query

    Hi

Am getting an RGH (SLim) but it has no HD. I was thinking of putting an 500GB drive in it via a Slim Enclosure of fleebay - only problem they say the enclosure will not work with anything above 250GB ? that cant be right can it?

Its just a sata enclosure , can anybody confirm whether a 500GB drive will work please?

the enclosure in question is INTERNAL 2.5'' HARD DISK DRIVE HDD ENCLOSURE COVER CASE SHELL FOR XBOX 360 SLIM | eBay

    thanks guys...and gyals...

I think the limit is due to the XBOX 360 Retail nand limit of 320gb HDD

The enclosure is physically the same and should be fine. If your in doubt, use a USB HDD

the console will be glitched meaning most security features will be removed and probably running freeboot. so it won't matter what hdd is used.

your only limited on retail nands

          hi

          first -thanks for replies everyone.

cunny- yes mate i was thinking the same , i dont think the seller understood what i meant- as i contacted them telling them i was going to install it in a rgh console.

one more question - might be off topic slightly tho- if i use a usb harddrive- where do i install FSD and other apps- all on usb harddrive?

          thanks

You can instal fsd where you want. But will have to use dashlaunch to tell there console to.boot into fsd first if you want it too.

If not. Just use a browsing program to direct to the launch file of fsd.

There are plenty of tutorials on how to setup and configure stuff easily.

              thank you...
one more thing does a BANNED slim make a difference if one uses it as RGH only? will stuff like title updates still worK?

I know RGH is not for online but have been told you still need internet for other stuff.

              thanks

Won't make a slightest difference. The only time it would have if you wanted a dual nand system for xbox live and rgh.

Title updates download via fsd by selecting the game and selecting title updates
