Press the sync and eject button together and then see how many red lights light up. Do it 4 times. From this you can get the specific error.
After you changed the clamps did you leave the xbox on without the fans running until you got 2 red lights indicating overheating? If you've done this then loosen the heatsinks slightly and try it again.Comment

I done a box repair recently to no avail. I got the 2 red lights but still nothing after 3 attempts.
