The rumor seems to be that M$ have changed the error reporting so that in some cases you get an E74 error instead of the RROD. I'm not preaching that as fact but, as I said, rumor.

The cure is the same in both cases. Either send it back as cunny sez, or try the x-clamp fix. I have seen this fix work on an E74 machine, so it is do-able.

he cant take it back its been flashed you need 2 fix it your self or i can give u a number 2 fix it its in cradley heath thay can fix that and open tray

or turn off ya xbox and take out your hard drive then turn it back on it happend 2 me last week keep doing it

when it comes on turn ya xbox off put ya hard drive back in and turn it on see what happend thats what i done

I've contacted ms now and ups are on their way, if they wont fix it cause its been flashed i will then have to go down that rout, i ain't had to pay 4 nothing yet so lets c what happens...

looks like downloading the map packs again for cod for the PS3 now...

PS3 is the best......... 4 now anyway, till me xbox comes back from the doctors..

We just sent an cnoc 360 back to ms under warrenty, I flashed it myself and got a new xbox 360 back, not looked at drive yet but its been returned repaired.

Best thing is you'll get the new motherboard no more rrod.everyone sends them back flashedd or not,it is 3 year warrenty now for any problem 1/3red lights Yippee

OK people its just arrived and YES they have re-placed it with a BRAND NEW console........... not bad, its only taken a week to get to Germany and back again, bang on MS... just need to get it re-flashed again 2moz...

Check the drive as new liteon has gone out mainstream that now can be read, unsure as flash as not tried
