    Liteon Drive Solder R707 done

    Soldered r707 point.

Liteon is detected. When i go to dump dummy.bin etc i get the bad sata read error on JF.

Anyone shed some light on this?

I thought Jf had this sorted so it was a simple extract?

And if possible with the solder done i read somewhere you can get the files through dos.

I may have to try this tomorrow.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks for the replies guys

    Managed to fix it.

Had to make a probe of my own.

A simple solder of the R707 does no do the job.

As it happens soldering the two points and using jungle flasher does do the job, i have done two like this with an asus mobo with on board raid.
Think the tricky part is where you decide half in and half out is with the tray.

in order to achieve a flash you must use a probe. Soldering the point doesn't do the job.

You must have power from the tx and rx connections.
