New Lite-on DG-16d2s-09c

Microsoft Xbox have released a new Lite-on Drive its called the DG-16d2s-09c There is no modification flash for this one at the moment so beware of this if you intend buying a new xbox Arcade or are in the trade of buying & flashing 360s for your customer or you could end up sitting on stock for some time !

Its been reported Xbox / Microsoft are to change or upgrade the drives on all of the models to hamper the modification of there systems with the Arcade been the first !

The Arcade console with the DG-16d2s-09c Lite on Drive are all ready in the market place and it been posted all ready on other fourms by buyers that at present there is nothing can be done to flash it !

There is software out there that can be used in conjunction with Jungleflasher allowing you to flash the drive.

some website called foundmy (from a member of the xbox scene) used to decrypt the keys for $42 dollar fee. However some other members including Maximus released a free firmware that does that for you. You should read the way they released their software, its pretty funny.

Foundmy.com were rejecting these files Im told, however, it is now down to the end user to validate.

Im going to email Maximus, see if they can check for this in FreeKey v2

JungleFlasher will also be checking this area, and specifically for this key in its next revision.

Hopefully the CLI apps will follow suit.

I would go with jungleflasher way as via the guide off them, they the main people behind the lot ie c4eva and others, they gave me the pdf
