DVD drive giving up

Hi,

Can anybody tell me what would be the best replacment drive for the 360 cos my drive has gone tits up on me, started not playing back ups & now it will not play originals either?

For best compatibility mate, go for a Samsung, they'll read any old disc

I have a spare samsung drive for sale , you will need to re flash it with the dump from your old drive though ..

Also do you know what drive you have ?? if its the hitatchi drive and you have a few tool's there an easy fix of a common issue that could be effecting it ... mind you it does sound though yours is just getting progressively worse so could be a new laser/ unit needed ..

benq mate like the sammy for media,but doesnt endup sticking like sammys do

i have a sammy and a benq and much prefer the benq, my sammy does that annoying sticking thing. the good thing about the hitachis though is that you can flash it through windows.
