XBL Update hosed my avi playback?

I stream files to my 360 from my server, it worked flawlessly before the latest update (with the exception of a few of the more obscure formats)

Now when i try to stream anything even files that played previously i keep getting the unsuported filetype error.

Ive reinstalled the optional media pack to no avail, so im wondering if this is just a glitch i have or if anyone else has experienced simmilar problems.

I haven't installed the update yet but have you tried installing tversity on your computer? That way it will transcode any filetype so you can play it on your xbox. It'll even upscale the ones which aren't hd if you use a wired connection

Got it sorted, i deleted both media patches, cleared out my cache and reinstalled the media patches.

Seems the new update causes a conflict somewhere that requires a reinstall. No big deal, its up and running now.
