My xbox wont play wave Three games. It's an Hitachi drive and was flashed by someone else. Reading around i think i'm right in saying i have to have the original firmware. Can i still reflash my box is there a way to do it without the original FW or can i obtain it somewhere.Or is my only option to patch the games.

Depend if you want to go online mate.
If your not online prob best to patch them.
Unless you can get someone to flash it for you.
Its right in saying that you need the original firmware as the hitachi has to be returned to stock before it is reflashed with the latest firware allowing you to play wav 3 games.
As i said if you want to go online with the box i suggest you flash to latest firmware.
If not just patch the games as this is pretty easy to do.sigpic

If you download the hitachi firmware 1.51 pack, this will include the original firmwares for all hitachi drives, you MUST return to stock before you can flash it to ix 1.51sigpic
