Thanks for the guide cunny. I have a bricked liteon 93450C-it froze when writing bank 0 in JF now it cannot be recognised.

I have followed your guide to the point where it asks if you wish to resend the command, when I put "Y" and hit return it just goes to status 0x52 as stays there. I have tried power cycling the drive after saying yes (as the screen tells you to) but with same results, have to press esc to abort to get system back. Of course, because it does not go into vendor mode I cannot write the fw to the drive.

Any ideas? I have tried different sata port but with same result.

What sata chipset? Also you could try send liteon erase in jungleflasher again

The chipset is nvidea (dont know any more than that!). I have tried sending liteon erase in JF but get invalid status message. If I try device intro (and power cycle drive) I get device intro failed (with status 0x7F).

i'd get your hands on a VIA card. That will be best and cheapest way to recover it
