Xbox 360 and Xbox Live

Hi, can anyone please confirm if I flash the drive in a 360 and play backup games on xbox live the console will be banned....

no mate 1.6 has special thing its safe to flash the drive aslong as u play games that have been tested thro abxl i think it is

As long as its passed the tests when scanned using ABGX. There are no guarantees with that however, you just have to be sensible. Don't play games before there out etc, why increase the risk?

i played a game and it was not on abgx but the game was out at the time and i just played it without running it on abgx and u no what im still on live abgx dont mean nohing and plus i never run it on abgx i just wait till the games are out then i go online and i dont have 1.6 my xbox is old 2006 and i play all my games on live

and plus i was playing the new need 4 speed the other day and i paid 4 a car with my xbox live points and i still have live if you wanna waste your time with abgx u can im telling you. you dont need it

Due in November is the next Ban Wave from Microsoft it rumored there could be a posability Ixtream 1.6 might be decticted this time around who Knows if this is true, but its been recomended to be very carefull around the release of Modern Warfare 2 on the November 10, 2009 if you have run Copys or downloaded backups on your Xbox360 its Advisable to disconnect from the Internet around this Time ....

Why bother not running it through ABGX when it takes literally a minute? If you got banned you'd be pretty annoyed whereas if you spent that extra 1minute putting it through ABGX and prolonging your XBL then you'd be chuffed although if you ever did get banned, atleast you can say you were careful and not careless!

Guess what?

You got lucky.

Obviously the game was patched that you downloaded.
Next time you might get a game that has not been patched and by not running it through ABGX might end up in a ban for you.

Even better what if the games i patched to WAV 2 and you go online. MS will know for sure something isn't right.
