    2 lights on the ring...

    Hey all,

    My 360 starts fine, and plays DVD's fine, but when it's left on the start up screen for more than 2 minutes, it turns itself off and has two red lights showing. Apparently this means it's overheated, but it's strange that it plays the DVDs ok!

    Anyone got any ideas?!

    I might just phone MS and report is as an error 74 (even though it isn't)... you never know, they might fix it!

          Cheers Cunny, looks like it is an overheating fault - strange it would overheat after only 2 minutes... there's pleanty of air around it, the fans are working fine and it's not clogged with dust at all! MS here I come
