    xbox green light comes on then turns the xbox off

    all the xbox does is turn on for 2 seconds then turns off it dont do anything can any one tell me what is up with it thanks for any help at all nice

        i was trying it today i got the green light to stay on but it still dont start up u can ear somthing i think its the fan please look at my video

            Maybe there is a loose connection somewhere or two points are touching when not to causing the console to short circuit.

              have u flashed the drive at all?
              also check the drive connections
              if the above is ok then press down on the big heatsink (cpu)
              then see if it powers on

                i tried it last night mate but nothing happened. as soon as i put the power in the green light is already on it don't turn off now thanks 4 trying

                    i had same problem liek tha a while back i put everything back together made it really tight and it worked perfect after tightned worth a shot

                        you no how you was sayin tight them all up does that mean i gotta do the heat sinks b cuz i have done the red light fix its not red now so it must have worked its just the xbox is not starting up
