Faulty disk drive after todays update!

Turned on my xbox today n did the xbox live update and now my disk drive wont read disks?it seemed to take longer than usual to install after downloading.has any1 else had the same problem?

installed last night and was fine

ive got 2 n 1 worked fine but for some reason the other 1 didnt ill try deleting the cache n see if it makes a difference

theres no change.new drive time i guess!must of been coincidence i guess

Not a drive change time. Its just the laser needs replacing. Can be easily done for under 10er.

Do you have a spare to try? flash it with keys see how it is then, but at moment allot of bans are happening.

What drive is it?

Its a benq spoofed as a lite on as i was gettin annoyed tryin to do a lite on the xbox isnt banned i can still go on live.ive never tried replacing a laser i know its easy to swap the drive

I tried to follow your guide to do it but it kept freezin and when i removed the drivers it didnt recognise my ck3 so i couldnt do any drives.the lite on i had needs recovering but i cant get it to bring the right status up during recovery.when i type the l-o-eras bit it just stays the same status all the time no matter how many times i do it
