xbox 360 switching off after 15 mins

hi all my sons xbox360 is switching off after 15 mins of play then it wont come back on for 20 to 30 minuets i have been told that it could be the power pack was hopeing someone could shed some light on this.thanks in advance

i had the same problem, was the power outlet, search on xbox.com says someat about a light on the actual pack rather than go and buy 1 and its not that.

That is the first thing that comes too mind when that happens have you had RROD on it yet?

I have two xboxes and one of them bought of my wifes brother did the same thing and it was overheating, too hot and it turned itself off, once cool it could be turned back on.
The fans were full of shit and fluff in the front vents.
