Firmware Update

I have a friend that has a flashed xbox and he hasn't used it in around a year. Now I tried a recent game on it the other day and it only showed the white xbox screen.

I assume this means he needs a newer firmware? Is there an easier way to re-do this than to re-flash it?

If it is a new game you tryed and your firmware is older say1.4/1.5 ixtreme then you would need a re-flash to 1.6 then your good to go..... M

or if u dont care about live, you can patch to wave 2, again would prob get u banned, also games that you do wont run in an xbox flashed with 1.6

yes it is easy just remember to open the disk drive tray half open b4 u read for good propertys then reflash
